Application Process!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1: Go to www.lasierra.edu/apply or scan QR CODE.
Step 2: Then enter your email address, first and last names, and date of birth.
Step 3: Go to your email to get the temporary PIN number, then go back to the application to
enter your PIN number and click Login.
Step 4: Create your password, confirm your password, and click on Set Password.
Step 5: Click on Start New Application.
Step 6: Select An Application Type – Criminal Justice and Click on Create Application.
Step 7: Application Detail – Criminal Justice should be selected as Application Detail, then Click
on Open Application.
Step 8: Complete the following sections ONLY:
* Personal Background
* Application Background
* High School Information
* Values and Standard
* Skip the other sections
NOTE: Upload Unofficial Transcripts to the application or request unofficial transcript from your school counselor. School counselor must email transcript to tbell@lasierra.edu.

FAFSA is a free application for student aid and must be completed before March 2nd of every year.
- Go to FAFSA.gov.
- Enter your Login information.
- Select the option to “Make FAFSA Corrections”.
- Go to the section where you've listed colleges and add La Sierra University school code (001215). …
- Hit Submit.
- Follow up!
Once you apply, you need to send us a copy of your UN-official transcripts and SAT and/or ACT test score.
If you don't have access to your UN-official transcripts, you can request them from your school counselor.
(Please Note – Don't rely on your counselor to submit documents on your behalf. Send them yourself!)
If you have not yet taken SAT or ACT please send Transcripts first.
Send a clear photo of your documents to the following emails. Be sure it's legible, check sample!

Once you received a letter from La Sierra University that you have been accepted. You will then need to schedule an appointment to go over your eligibility for Scholarship, Tuition Assistance and Financial Aid. Our Criminal Justice Staff may contact you via text, email and phone number. So please check often. If your contact info has changed since you last applied. Please call us to update your information.

Click Forms to download.
Then check your local computers download folder for forms.
Download and print documents. Once you printed documents please fill out all content clearly. Once you're done filling out documents use a FREE mobile device application called “Genius Scan". Then, scan the documents one at a time and send all documents to the following email adresses: feslao@gmail.com and kjohnson@lasierra.edu

Once you have completed all the required acceptance forms, now you need to complete your FAFSA online counseling. You will need to complete the Master Promissary Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling (EC).
Please make sure you have the following before you begin process.
- FSA ID: User/password
- Drivers License: If you have one.
- Email: Use a permanent email address
- References: 2 references that do not live in the same household, you will need their full name address and contact info.
First-Year Registration and Orientation
The freshman journey begins as soon as they connect with an acadmic advisor. Through this first meeting a summer program will be developed including:
- Connecting with various offices on campus to finalize admission
- Meeting with financial aid
- Placement testing
- Advising and Registration
- Registering for orientation
Orientation is required for all freshmen new to college or transferring 23 college credits or less.
To register for orientation visit www.lasierra.edu, and click “my campus" located on the upper left of homepage. Once you're logged in for the first time you will be asked to confirm contact info and review and accepte school policies. Then you need to select and accept Orientation date from to do list.
